A Family Tradition

I learned everything I know about the roofing business from my father, who I worked side by side with since 1991. I watched him become a successful partner with one of the largest roofing companies in West Texas.
I started at the bottom in 1991 working in the warehouse. I delivered shingles and kept the inventory stocked. In my spare time, I started to learn the basics of roofing. Two years later I became the repair technician.
This is when I learned every aspect of roofing. I quickly became familiar with the dos and don’ts of roofing. Soon I became an expert in the installation process. I paid attention to the smallest details to make sure that the customer got the best customer satisfaction in the industry. I did roof repairs for the next eight years before becoming a roofing estimator.
As an estimator, I learned how to work closely with insurance companies to make sure that the homeowner is given a fair evaluation of the insurance claim. After five years of sales experience my wife and I decided it was time to take all that my father has taught me and bring our knowledge, small town honesty, and values to Central Texas, where Heat Wave Roofing was born.
